Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching: Talk About Stretch!

Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching is a revolutionary technique that lengthens and strengthens the muscles of the body. You provide “resistance” against your trainer as he or she moves your arm and/or leg through different patterns of movement.  When you provide resistance against your trainer you are stretching your muscles and when your trainer provides resistance against you, you are strengthening your muscles. The idea behind this dynamic movement is to stretch the stronger muscles and strengthen weaker muscles, in order to provide balance in the muscles.  This will allow the muscles to work more efficiently and at the some time provide stability in the joints. This technique can not only increase flexibility and muscular performance, but it will also help heal old injuries and prevent future ones.

Results can include:

  • Increased overall strength and flexibility
  • Reduced pain from chronic knee and/or hip degeneration
  • Increased range of motion in the shoulder joint
  • Increased distance of your golf drive from increased range of motion in the hips and core
  • Improved tennis serve and shot from increased range of motion in the hips and core
  • Improved performance in any sport or activity
  • Improved posture
